Bill Carpenter

          I have thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of living in Colorado since 1974, when I began law school at the University of Colorado.  From 1970 to 1974 I attended the University of Washington on a gymnastics scholarship and earned a B.A. in International Business.  I am originally from the Chicago area.

            I have been engaged in the practice of law since 1977 and have an AV rating from Martindale Hubbel (the highest rating given by the national lawyers directory).  For the past 30 years I have focused on estate planning, probate, long term care issues as well as a variety of personal injury cases. I have done estate planning for more than three thousand clients.  Earlier in my career I engaged in a broad spectrum of litigation including personal injury, commercial and business matters, domestic relations, and criminal prosecution and defense including first degree murder jury trials.

           Apart from the law my passion is outdoor recreation and sports. Whenever I can get away I head to the mountains for snow skiing, sailing, water skiing, hiking, golfing and tennis.

    I have been married to my wife, Jan, for 41 years. We have two sons, Chris and Cliff, and two granddaughters, Olivia and Hadley.

    I am very pleased to be afforded the opportunity to join Navigation Wealth Management now as a financial planner.
